The round Diamond center is surrounded by concentric rigs of calibre bright Demantoid Garnets and sparkly Old cut Diamonds. Demantoid Garnets, discovered in the Ural Mountains of Russia in the 1850s, were depleted in the early 1900s, making them quite rare in jewelry. The Old Mine Diamond weighs 0.35 carat and the forty (40) Old Cuts all weigh 1.08 carat. All diamond are of H/I color – VS/SI clarity.
