Emilia Clarke may be best known for her dragons, but in the latest issue of Vogue Australia — which goes on sale April 18 — the 29 year-old Game of Thrones star proves that being Khaleesi isn’t her only party trick.
Within the 10-page the feature, written by Vogue deputy editor Sophie Tedmanson, styled by Vogue fashion director Christine Centenera and shot by Emma Summerton, the actress talks about getting her start in the business (“I grew up understanding the magic of backstage,”), her political leanings (“everybody should have rights, full stop,”) and, of course, her eyebrows (“they’re like caterpillars!”).
The English-bred, L.A-denizen also chats about her next role in Me Before You, which arrives in cinemas on June 23.
“It’s lovely to have a bit more depth in the rom-com world,” Clarke said of the deeply personal role, which finds her as a caretaker charged with watching over a young heir who becomes a quadriplegic. “It was one of the best experiences I had.”
The Zoe Report’s Shannon Nash stopped by recently to discuss Engagement Rings with us. We were more than happy to share some essential wisdom when it comes to selecting engagement rings. From the Zoe Report:
Let’s be honest, when it comes to diamonds, size does matter. The only downside to this strategy is the exorbitant price tag associated with truly perfect diamonds. Luckily, there are tricks and nuanced specifications to look for when shopping that can help wrangle a bigger stone without visibly sacrificing quality.
She talks about her jewelry collection, giving special attention to her 1960’s emerald engagement ring and ruby wedding band, purchased from our shop in Beverly Hills. Looking for a ring similar to Heather’s? Click here.
We love the concept behind her blog: when it comes to weddings as with anything in life, “not everything goes as planned.” She’s after the stories behind the pretty pictures. In particular, the Quotes section on her blog gets straight to those stories, most often told with hilarious quotes from our loved ones!
As with all of our clients, it was a genuine pleasure to be a part of her wedding. Thank you Raquel!

Sofia Vergara is InStyle’s April cover girl! With her killer curves and irresistible comic timing, the Modern Family star has taken the stereotype of the sultry Latin spitfire and spun it into gold, landing her at the top of Hollywood’s hot list. And that’s not something she takes lightly: “I am on these lists for ‘best ass’ or ‘most beautiful’ with women like Mila Kunis, who’s, like, 20 years old,” she said. “I have a son that age!” Though, she’s happy to be there. “Part of my career has always been because of the way I look,” she said. “I’m not ashamed. It has opened doors. But I also know that if I didn’t have something else, I’d be long gone.”
